Saakashvili’s cold sweat

2010-08-11 16:52

6623.jpegTo attack and then hide oneself at home is an agony, an animal state of survival. At the cost of others, though. Can you imagine Russian tanks in the streets of Tbilisi? A beautiful sight! And then what: tent camps, field kitchens, hungry children and old people? Do you need all this? No, we have fulfilled our mission saving the whole nation from destruction, and if you like Saakashvili - keep living with him and enjoy yourselves.

On the fourth day of the war Georgia was showing all signs of agony. In medical terms an agony is a state preceding death which looks like the struggle between life and death from the outside. In reality the struggle was over by that time, and we were facing a slow, apparently painful death with asynchronous decrement of organs and systems. An agony in political sense is a regime losing control over the situation and its coarse snapping aware of fatality.

On the night of August 11 Tskhinval again came under artillery fire. According to Marat Kulakhmetov, commander of Mixed Peace Support Forces, the southern part of Tskhinval district was a scene of constant clashes between Russian peacekeepers and Georgian militaries. One of the peacekeeping posts was shelled by Georgian air forces. As a result of the nighttime bombardment on the capital of South Ossetia 3 peacekeepers died, 18 peacekeepers were injured and 6 civilians were severely wounded.

The following morning Georgian troops attempted to flood cellars in Tskhinval. According to Irina Gagloyeva, South Ossetian government spokesperson, they opened an irrigative canal so that the people couldn't hide themselves from shelling.

On that day Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili signed a cease fire agreement prepared by the Foreign Ministers of France and Finland. He had declared "cease fire" a few times before lying like a son of a bitch!

After Saakashvili signed the cease fire document an EMERCOM of Russia's humanitarian convoy failed to enter Tskhinval because of the shelling. The convoy stops nearly 10 km away from the republic of South Ossetia. Georgian air forces keep shelling the city, Tskhinval hospital, the artillery is shooting at Russian peacekeepers.

Nonetheless, Russian peacekeepers continue their advance deeper into Western Georgia facing practically no resistance on their way. According to the witnesses, Georgia's security structures left the western part of the country. It's high time that US instructors were deprived of their salaries. Saakashvili is gathering troops to defend Tbilisi. Well, do you need more chronology, or is this quite enough?

Usually politologists don't join in polemics. Each one expresses his point of view, and then they split up, but this is a special case. Gela Vasadze, who wrote for GeorgiOnline site repeatedly caught on lies, provocations and slander called Russians and Ossetians "monkeys with grenades". "The strength of modernized Georgian army was slightly over 30,000 persons. It is clear that for a war with the Russian Federation this army is of little effect. It was established, mainly, as a means of defense from monkeys with grenades, well-armed jerks ready to shoot at anyone on order of their master. Late July was the start of monkeys' time. Could Georgia have not responded? Hardly so. There was definitely no chance of avoiding the war," - the author asserts.

There is one thing that takes all this nonsense to one specific point. If we are monkeys who chased you away back to your capital, then you are baobabs, aren't you? You do humiliate yourselves, sirs.
