Armenian terrorists threaten Azerbaijan2012-09-07 19:29
Extradition and subsequent release of Azerbaijani officer Ramil Safarov, murdered the Armenian officer Margaryan in 2004, has resulted artificial aggravation of situation Armenia. Artificial - because Armenia, unlike Azerbaijan, has repeatedly freed from custody perpetrators of killing of innocent people. Azerbaijani political analyst Elman Nasirli told GTimes about this.
Among those released Armenian criminals there were many international terrorists, political analyst Elman Nasirli says. The excitement in Armenia, caused by the recent events, revealed some very unpleasant moments. It seems that the Armenian society is being set on hateful revenge. And the fact that Armenian terrorist organization ASALA is at the forefront of international revanchists speaks for itself, Nasirli says.
They are using all the resources to increase the society's hatred to the Azerbaijanis. In essence, this is no new. Armenian politicians have always used this method, the analyst says. History knows many facts when Armenian terrorists exterminated those Armenians who were resisting their provocation and refusing to kill civilians or to pay to the terrorists. Later this was presented as a murder of innocent people by the Turkic nationalists. Of course, a new wave of violence arose.
It is quite possible that this is what certain political circles in Armenia are seeking to. Indeed, despite their provocations on the cease-fire line, Azerbaijan thwarts all attempts to renew hostilities, the expert says.
As for the ASALA, included in the list of terrorist organizations of the U.S. Department of State, it has decided to announce about itself. A couple of days ago, the Azerbaijani Embassy in Hungary received a letter from the ASALA. In the letter, the ASALA threatens Azerbaijani diplomats, students studying abroad, businessmen and leaders of diaspora. In particular, the letter says: destroying the Turks (meaning the Turkish and Azerbaijani citizens) every day, we are bringing the number of dead from the current 40 thousand to 600 thousand. Soon Azerbaijanis living abroad will be killed by unseen till now way".
Political analyst Nasirli Elman says the threat of terrorist acts from the ASALA is real. This organization specializes in the murder, and therefore its threat may be implemented. "In our recent history we have repeatedly faced terrorist attacks by the Armenians. Our people remember blown up buses and trains, and explosions in the Baku Underground. This is the work of Armenian terrorists, encouraged by Armenia at the state level. This situation would continue as long as there is place for double standards, existence of which divides the terrorists into good and bad", Nasirli says.
It is no accident that the Azerbaijani side has quite seriously taken the threat from Armenian terrorists. Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry spokesperson Elman Abdullayev stated that liability for any act against the citizens and diplomatic missions on the side of the ASALA would be on the Armenian leadership. All the diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan were instructed - to appeal on safety issues to the relevant authorities of the countries they are situated. "Full of aggressive rhetoric and threats, speeches of the Armenian leadership show that the country's leadership is encouraging terrorism. The hysteria of the Armenian leadership this is a populism aimed at the interests of the ultra-nationalists", Abdullayev says.
