Georgian Diaspora in Moscow today expressed opinion on the upcoming parliamentary election in Georgia. Representatives of diaspora Vladimir Khomeriki, Badri Meladze and Tengiz Kitovani have outlined simple algebraic calculations with the votes, according to which the ruling party must obtain a majority in the Parliament of Georgia in order to elect Mikheil Saakashvili the Prime Minister of Georgia. Experts have also highlighted the possible behavior of current authorities in the case of failure in the election. The experts do not doubt in the fact that most of the Georgians would give their votes for the "Georgian Dream".

Campaign strategy of the Georgian authorities like an algebraic calculation or "double-entry bookkeeping". To participate in the Georgian election there were registered about four million people. But that figure is pure forgery, since so many people do not live in Georgia. The authorities have added illegal immigrants and even the dead to the actual number of voters. The sense of Georgian immigrants is the following: More than 80 percent of them are deprived of voting rights by the authorities. About two million Georgians live abroad and only 1,400 of them have a real right to vote. However, the two millionth army of immigrant was included in the electoral lists. What is the point of this game?

First, under the latest orders of the Interior Ministry, the Georgians living abroad have the right to vote in the election meeting the following two conditions. The first - in their country of residence he must be registered in the Embassy of Georgia. The second - to register at the consulate he must submit a certificate from the place of his permanent residence in Georgia and recommendations of two guarantors from the permanent residents of Georgia. These two points prevent emigrants from participating in the elections. First, because about million of Georgians live in Russia, which has no diplomatic relations with Georgia. Second, Georgian emigrants in the USA, the EU and Turkey, are illegally there. Therefore, they have no residence permit and are not registered at the consulates. Third, the 1st of October, the date of the election, is Monday. It is difficult for any person to vote on Monday, and for an emigrant from Georgia it is simply impossible, because on Monday he works from dawn to dusk. The ruling regime has thought over these details in order to deprive the Georgian emigrants of voting rights, since emigrants' voices obviously belong to the opposition. The cause of this is very simple. During the final vote count their voices will be submitted as voices for the "United National Movement". For beautiful picture they have included in the voter lists the Georgians, registered in Abkhazia and South Ossetia. Naturally, these Georgians do not live there any more and can not vote.
