Is Soso Pavliashvili a murderer?2013-04-01 19:39
Soso Pavliashvili is well known far beyond the borders of Russia and Georgia. Singer with southern temperament, typical Caucasian appearance and clear Georgian accent, performing his songs in the Russian, does not leave anyone indifferent. And the last few days, the name of Soso Pavliashvili is involved in the case of murder of a businessman Avtandil Aduashvili, with whom they shared many years of friendship. So what was the reason of a conflict between the old friends and business partners?
On November 24 last year, 46-year-old businessman Avtandil Aduashvili was found dead near the shopping center "Karvasla" in the back seat of his Mercedes ML. According to investigators, the businessman was stabbed and shot at point-blank range. It is unknown whether the businessman was killed in the same area or was brought there later. But interviewed residents of nearby houses on the Zaziashvili street, where the body was found, have not heard the shots. It is known that a few hours earlier Avtandil Aduashvili met with friend in a cafe in Vake. After the meeting, the businessman went to his car, where the killer presumably was waiting for him. According to preliminary data, there were a few people.
To date, six people are arrested on this case, and a certain Vakhtang Chkhapelia, who is Soso Pavliashvili's brother-in-law, is among them. All of them appeared in court on March 29, but the trial was postponed to April 12, due to the new facts in the case.
Almost immediately after the murder a certain relative of the Aduashvili family, who has wished to remain anonymous, contacted the regional channel "Guria News". Information that he had told the information portal has caused scandalous resonance. This relative told the names of the four suspects, who call Vakhtang Chkhapelia the customer of the murder. They also called the amount promised for the murder - $ 15 thousand. But the relative also told about his own conjectures. According to him, the murder is no less than Soso Pavliashvili's handwork, who allegedly had got a joint business in Armenia and Ukraine with the victim. "As far as I know, in Yerevan, they were engaged in gasoline and cement business, and in Kharkov - meat business. Naturally, the family believes that Chkhapelia assumes the offense of Soso, since personally Chkhapelia had no motive to kill Aduashvili and had no ties with the victim," said unnamed relative.
On the other hand, Avtandil Aduashvili and the singer were friends for a long time. They grew up in Tbilisi, in one yard. Soso categorically denies any connection to the murder and stated that any suspicions were extremely offensive to him.
"Unfortunately, we could not often meet with Avtandil. I haven't been in Georgia for several years. We met in Armenia and Ukraine. First he was my friend. Most likely, this is the work of journalists. These journalists must be brought to legal liability. I always stood for Avtandil's family and still stand for them, because he was my friend. My brother-in-law, who claims to be uninvolved in this case, is in prison for that. And I'm caught in the middle. I feel worse than anybody. There are certain people who have been long annoying me. For 10 years they called me a Kremlin agent, I allegedly tried to overthrow the government, the call me the enemy of the people and drug lord. This cannot last anymore."
