Georgia is on the brink of collapse as long as Chakhalyan remains in jail
Vaagn Chakhalyan, the Apmenian political activist who had been sentenced to 10 years for “participation in mass riots” in Javakhetia was beaten in prison. His lawyers call on international rights defending organizations and the Georgian ombudsman. But it seems neither of them is interested in the fate of Chakhalyan.
