Georgian Opposition Changes Its Strategy
Yesterday it still seemed that the situation was settling down in Tbilisi: neither traditional protest actions nor manifestations. The police freed the street adjacent to the State Chancellery from cage cameras without any difficulty. And the government session did not witness any incidents: neither egg nor bottle throwing. Of course, this can be explained by the weather conditions: the capital has been beaten by heavy showers for five days. But the opposition has proved again that it does not care about any hindrances. Today another protest action is planned near the Chief Administration of Internal Affairs. And the further plans will be announced by the opposition on 22 June.
