The “outcome” of the elections already announced
The Georgian authorities are going to win the local elections. This can hardly be doubted, especially after the uncompromising result of an American research: the ruling party is supported by more than a half of the citizens of the capital and over one third of the country’s population. The opposition believes the poll to be “paid”, although it is going to be the bar for the electoral commissions to level up their figures. The most beneficial position is taken up by leader of Movement for United Georgia Nino Burdzhanadze who is boycotting the elections.
