Five days of lying
Not so long ago, a film called Five Days in August offering rather a peculiar interpretation of the war in South Ossetia has again become the focus of the media's attention. The reason is the sensational rumours that the head of the Georgian state personally made voice-over for Andy Garcia who portrayed Mikhail Saakashvili in the film. Later on, the authors denied these conjectures, although there is a suspicion that the whole noise around the movie was initiated with their help.

However, the call of rights defenders will not be heard: Mikheil Saakashvili and his government don't care for those who are left between the devil and the deep blue sea of political games.

A film called German Tragedy, which is another part of the Occupation series sponsored by Mikhail Saakashvili's foundation, is to be screened today at the session of the Georgian Parliament Interim Commission on the Restoration of Territorial Integrity. In their new opus, the authors of the TV series ordered by the Georgian president tried to compare the situation in Germany after the Second World War and that in Georgia after August 2008. An expert in Caucasian history Stanislav Lakoba told GeorgiaTimes correspondent whether such historical allusions are eligible.
