Mishiko fades in romanticism
At a parade in Batumi dedicated to the Sailor's International Day, Mikheil Saakashvili pronounced many good words about this heroic, manly and romantic profession. This all is nice, of course, but his speech leads to one conclusion: no one wants to rescue the sailors held in Somali captivity. And the Georgian president’s pathetic speeches are just another populist nonsense. Saakashvili wants to love, support and admire sailors only verbally.

For an unknown reason representatives of the Georgian Party led by Okruashvili started to accuse his colleague - Nino Burdzhanadze of his failed visit. The opposition has less and less time before parliamentary election. This sorting out won’t help them raise their ratings among potential voters.

Saakashvili threatened with impeachment
The bloody crackdown of the May demonstration evidently demonstrated the determination of Saakashvili’s dictatorial regime to hold on to the power at any cost. In the absence of any other opportunities to express protest the opposition is obliged to play by the rules imposed by the criminal authorities. In this situation Labourists decided to reanimate their long-standing idea and announce Saakashvili’s impeachment. But dictatorship is called so because it does not leave any legal ways of its elimination. A correspondent of GeorgiaTimes discussed the Labourists’ initiative with the political2011-06-28 11:40
Saakashvili shuts up the country
The Constitutional Court of Georgia celebrates its fifteenth anniversary. Of course, they just do not have any choice: of the total number of the arrested just 0,1% of the defendants receive a sentence of acquittal.
