Temuri Ketsbaia appointed the head coach of the Georgia national football team
2009-11-06 14:32Ketsbaia is the former player of the national team, the ex-manager of Anorthosis [Cyprus] and Olimpiacos [Greece], appointed the head coach of the national football team of Georgia - GHN.
The contract with Ketsbaia will be signed today. The ceremony will be attended by Zviad Sechinava, the president of the Football Federation of Georgia, Nikoloz Rurua, the Minister of Education and Sport, and David Namgalauri, the chairman of the Department for Sport and Youth Affairs.
In this position Ketsbaia will replace Héctor Cúper, under whose tenure the team found itself at the last position in its group before the World Championship of 2010.
