President Arms First Formers2011-04-13 15:19
For the second consecutive day Michael Saakashvili has pleased the admirers of his verbal art. Yesterday in an interview the candid president told us about his self-satisfaction at night. Exclusively political, not bad thoughts! And today Mishiko amazed his audience with his stories about the "new Georgian politician", the main weapon of Sakartvelo, the country's true face, and with the news on where the last frontier of Georgian defense. Get Abkhazia and South Ossetia out of mind - these frontiers are not topical any more.
Let us to justice to Saakashvili: one is never bored with him. If other developed countries are ruled by somewhat boring serious people solving cheerless state affairs day by day, in Georgia the situation is quite different. The Georgian president's speeches cannot be called otherwise than everyday shows. Who finally need these boring satiety and stability when such a fervent man is in office!
This time Saakashvili "grooved" before some students, those who wrongly do not sit in a parliament but go into higher education in a traditional way, i.e. at desk. In spite of their "backwardness", the President strained every sinew: maybe counting that the youngsters would come to senses and, having left their lecture rooms, would enroll in mainstream politics. For example, he declared that a "new type of politician", the third at Saakashvili's estimate, appeared in the country. Though Mishiko concealed who were the previous two.
According to the president, the "beginners" are able to pointedly criticize the government and talk on subjects Georgian people are interested in. Maybe the conclusion is that their predecessors could only agree with the president and were absolutely uninteresting for Georgian people. What a correct and self-critical approach!
"I want to tell you that this third category is the most dangerous one in terms of the retention of power, but it is very good for the country. It is very good that there appeared a political class that has common frameworks of principles, that does not hate its own country, does not laugh at its own people, is not tied with the enemy and wishes great future to its country, even though it does not agree with the government and wants to change it. This is the right way of opposing. As for me, I am proud of the fact that such a political class is gradually appearing in the country, both inside the government and outside it", said Saakashvili.
