Georgian special services are planning armed provocation against South Ossetia, the statement of the republican Ministry of Press and Mass Communications claims, ITAR-TASS reports.

Alluding to the security bodies, the Ministry states that "in near future Georgian side is preparing to conduct an armed provocation against South Ossetia and Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation military base servicemen, located in the republic ".

According to the statement, the republic is ready "to conduct drastic measures to prevent provocation".
