However, not everyone agrees with the fact there are much less tourists this year. "We do not complain about the number of guests. All kinds of guests come to us - businessmen and ordinary holiday-makers", Natia Gregory, marketing and sales manager, hotel "Radisson Batumi" says. "They come from all over the world, especially from Europe. Basically it is a group of people that are not afraid of high prices. We facilitate implementation of various activities - workshops, seminars, cultural and business meetings. There are those who despite high price prefer to stay in our hotel. In July, August and September the hotel is full".

Despite the growing tourist network, many travelers do not have contacts with tour operators. They come as free-wheeling holidaymakers, stay in private hotels. They are interested in local way of life, they use the services of guides or friends to visit the sights. Tourists of such a category do not want to live in expensive hotels, but they want to relax in a simple environment, and this is not always associated with their financial capabilities.

Across Georgia, now you can see tourists with backpacks. "It's much more interesting, and you can study the country much better. I love free-wheeling holidays. We stayed at our friend's place, but we wander throughout Georgia, we spend the night anywhere - and then get back to Tbilisi and then we go to Switzerland. We don't spare money for travelling, and the prices are low here", Steve, a young camper holiday-maker says.
