According to the Caucasian Knot, the leader of the opposition coalition "Georgian Dream", a billionaire Bidzina Ivanishvili has fully paid off a fine of 74.3 million lari (about $ 45.6 million) and the sum of the execution of $ 5.2 million lari (about $ 3.2 million). Interim Manager of the company "Cartu Groups", owned by Ivanishvili, Vladimir Ugulava has appealed to employees to explain that the lender had paid off the debt, and the court must decide on amendments to the management of the "Cartu Bank".
"The requirement of the lender is fully satisfied, now we just have to pass certain formalities imposed upon me by law. I had to report to the National Executive Bureau. The Bureau must file a petition to the court, and then the external control will be canceled", Ugulava explained.
Recall, Tbilisi City Court has fined the billionaire and the opposition leader of the coalition "Georgian Dream" Bidzina Ivanishvili on 126, 2 million lari (about $ 77.5 million). This was reported by Ivanishvili's media lawyers.
The decision was taken on Monday, June 11. Thus, the court has concluded the hearing on the administrative case of the Control Chamber of Georgia against the billionaire, related to the distribution of the satellite antennas by the company Global Sonsulting Group.
