At the staff meeting Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov stated he intended to raise the issue of establishment of an administrative border with Ingushetia at the federal level. This was announced by the press service of the republic's leadership.

According to the, the meeting participants stated that the officials of Ingushetia have been taking steps designed not only to legally secure the territories, deliberately left by the Chechen authorities as inter-republican territories, but also to seize new lands, wedging deeper into Chechnya.

"These actions are provocative. Everybody knows that the Sunzha district and large areas of the Malgobek district are the part of Chechnya", Kadyrov stated.

"Boundary line, which we had never drawn, and which we have never been interested in, is moving deeper into Chechnya day after day, month after month", the head of the republic said. "Only in Goragorsk there was conducted unilateral disengagement, having encroached on hundreds of thousands of acres in addition to the lands, previously cut from Chechen".

"We thought that our peoples were brothers, that the Ingush people have experienced a certain tragedy. We hushed acute problems and based on the assumption that the boundary should not separate us from each other. But we were misunderstood. Now let the directors, as squirrels, not lean out of their holes", the leader of Chechnya concluded.

Turning to the Chairman of the government of Chechnya Abubakar Edelgerievu, Kadyrov demanded to warn leaders of the state enterprises and local authorities "not step foot outside their native territory". "Otherwise, we have to call to order. And we have all reasons to do this", Kadyrov added.

According to the Interfax, Kadyrov also declared that Chechnya "still valued the friendship and brotherly relations with the Ingush people, but in compliance with the law it is forced to take a clear definition of the administrative boundary line between the two republics". "On the contrary, this would strengthen good-neighborliness and rule out the possibility to anybody to move the boundary line", the head of Chechnya said.

He stressed that "in actual fact, all the talks about the availability of a document on the administrative boundary line between the two republics, agreed with Dudayev, were an invention and a lie".

Meanwhile, according to the head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, administrative border between Ingushetia and the Chechen Republic must be determined, the Vedomosti reported.
