South Ossetia left without power supplies
2009-03-10 11:05A damaged power line left the entire South Ossetia without power supplies since Monday morning.
According to the EMERCOM of North Ossetia the damage might happened somewhere in a pass but reaching the damaged part is currently impossible due to heavy snowfall in the Transcaucasian Highway, connecting Russia with South Ossetia - RIA Novosti. According to the source, no damaged in north Ossetia part of the power line were found,
Power supplies come to South Ossetia from Russia. At the same time, natural gas, supplied from Georgia, flows to resident area under a very low pressure, South Ossetia stated.
