2009-05-19 15:16

The Parliament of Georgia has been holding no sittings since April 9th [the beginning of the protest actions], but may resume its work in June. To keep up with the schedule set for the spring session, the MPs will have to hold meetings every day - The Vzglyad.

Opposition promises not to block the entrances to the building, but cannot rule out organization of the "halls of shame' for MPs. Currently a considerable number of special mission unit policemen are staying inside. On May 26th, in the day of Independence of Georgia, opposition intends to start establishing alternative authority bodies.
