Poland granted financial aid to Georgia

Poland allocated 5,5mln euro as the aid for development of Georgia till 2010, informed Marek Zyulkovskiy, the director of cooperation development department of the Foreign Ministry of Poland.


The sum will be directed on recovering the country from the August conflict, in particular, on restoration of important strategic objects of infrastructure- RIA-Novosti. Financial aid will be also spend on development of Georgian regions and "reinforcement of democratic processes in the country". Altogether over 30 different projects will be realized.

Marek Zyulkovskiy mentioned that Georgia is Poland's prior country to be rendered financial aid.
