5-side meeting to be held in Gali

Today in Gali [Abkhazia] another 5-side meeting of the working group on joint incident prevention and response in the area of Georgian-Abkhazian conflict will be held - GHN.

Representatives of Georgia, Abkhazia, Russia, the U.N. and the OSCE will discuss the rights of the population, residing in the area of Georgian-Abkhazian conflict, the situation near the administrative border and security issues.

According to tentative information, Georgia will be represented by Shota Utiashvili, the spokesman of the Interior Ministry; Abkhazia - by Maxim Gvinjia, the deputy Foreign Minister of Abkhazia.

The Georgian opposition seems to live according to a cyclic people’s calendar. Imedi’s scandalous broadcast about Russia’s attack against Georgia became the last straw in this season. Several parties that have consolidated around Zurab Nogaideli into National Council speak for the peaceful change of the government.
