Vilnius accuses Moscow of violating air space
2009-12-18 11:42Rasa Jukneviciene, the Minister of Defense Lithuania reported that Russia [allegedly] violated the republic's air space - Lenta.ru.
gt-en-newsitem-insideAccording tot her data, Air Force of Lithuania detected the An-26 aircraft in Shilut region of the country; it spent two minutes in the republic's air space.
She highlighted the Russian military transport aircraft had no permission for crossing the border. Data about the violation were passed into the Foreign Ministry and NATO, she added.
As it was learnt later, the aircraft doesn't belong to the Armed Forces of Russia.
