McCain met with opposition leaders

U.S. Senators John McCain, John Barrasso and John Thune, currently staying in Georgia], this morning held meeting with leaders of Georgian opposition in Inturist hotel - GeorgiaTimes correspondent in Tbilisi.


According to Georgian TV companies, from the opposition side the meeting was attended by Georgi Targamadze [Christian Democrats movement], David Usupashvili [Republican party], and Levan Gachechiladze [Protect Georgia].

Levan Gachechiladze was 15 minutes late to the meeting.

After the meeting opposition members said the focused on national security issues, existing problems in the country and ways to develop and reinforce democracy.

Then McCain headed for Sheraton hotel to visit President Mikheil Saakashvili.
