Noghaideli threatens the Interior Minister with reprisal
Zurab Noghaideli, the leader of Movement for Just Georgia, ex-PM, threatened Vano Merabishvili, the Interior Minister, with reprisal in case of rigging municipal elections of May 30th.
"Rigging elections will coast Merabishvili very dear, perhaps even his life," he said commenting the interview of the Minister to the Kommersant. When asked to specify, Noghaideli said he spoke directly, and it was "not a threat but a promise." - Interfax.
"Jokes in Georgia have come to an end," he added.
In February he also intimidated possible riggers of elections. He said that when he would come to power, everyone who tried to rig the elections, "would be severely punished". Let no-one be surprised about my terminology and my actions - I'll eliminate, break arms and legs," he said.
