FBI Director arrived in Georgia
2010-05-07 11:30Robert Mueller, the Director of FBI arrived in Georgia yesterday. In Tbilisi he intends to discuss issues of cooperation between law enforcement bodies of the two countries - RIA Novosti.
gt-en-newsitem-insideMueller is expected to meet with Vano Merabishvili, the Interior Minister of Georgia, and other officials.
Previously the U.S. embassy in Georgia called on law enforcement bodies and opposition to abstain from violence.
The diplomatic mission mentioned it was watching the events of May 6th and cases of violence, occurred between protesters and policemen near the Interior Ministry building.
