Georgia and Romania to sign an agreement on cooperation

In the course of Mikheil Saakashvili's visit to Romania an agreement on cooperation of the two countries in the spheres of economy, science and technology will be signed, stated Nino Kalandadze, the deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia - Trend.


The President's visit to Romania is planned for June 2nd-3rd. The delegation will also include Zurab Pololikashvili, the Minister of Economic Cooperation, and Alexander Khetaguri, the Minister of Energy.

"This visit is especially important because Georgia and Romania has several joint energy and economic projects," Kalandadze said.

She also noted the visit was initially planned for April 30th, but adjourned on the request of the Romanian side.
