If Georgia does not receive invitation to join MAP at the NATO member countries Ministers of Foreign Affairs summit in Brussels, the alliance must offer clear methods to let the country integrate without obstacles, says the State Minister Georgy Baramidze, Novosti-Gruzia (News-Georgia) informs.

According to Baramidze, at the summit the ministers will discuss the resolution of the Bucharest summit on joining Georgia and the Ukraine to MAP.

"Because of certain political opinions and problems, connected with Russia, some NATO member countries are skeptic in this issue, - Baramidze says.  -  But the final decision is of primary importance ". "Russia should have no illusion that it can break the unity of the alliance and announce a victory that she never gained, or that it has a right of veto to implementation of NATO decisions", - the State Minister adds.

Nino Kalanadze, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, in her turn, says that Georgia’s joining MAP "is not a critical issue". According to Kalanadze, the most important thing is holding the resolution of the Bucharest summit on Georgia and the Ukraine joining NATO.  "At this meeting of ministers a clear signal that Georgia will be a member of the alliance, must be emitted. It doesn’t matter whether it will happen through MAP or some other plan", - Kalanadze announces.

At the same time, David Darchiashvili, the chairman of the parliamentary committee on eurointegration, is sure that the process of Georgia joining NATO will surely proceed. "MAP was vital in April. Now there’s no longer a position that something may happen if MAP is not received in December. What must have happened, was done by Russia. Now other methods can be found ", - he notices. According to Darchiashvili, talking of terms is difficult right now. "New American administration must be established, its position must be formed.", - Darchiashvili says.
