Boeing crashed in Alaska
In Alasaka, not far from Elemendorf base, a military Boeing С-17crashed - RBC.
Several hours before another incident occurred in the U.S. air space: an ambulance helicopter wrecked in Arizona. According to the federal Aviation Administration, it hit a fence of a house in Tucson and caught fire.
Boeing C-17 Globemaster III, a military aircraft, is used by the USA, Great Britain, Australia, and Canada. Several incidents occurred with it in previous years. In 2003 C-17 of the USAF landed in Baghdad when a missile, launched by militants, crashed one of its engines . In 2005 another C-17 of USAF rolled outside the runway in Bagram base [Afghanistan] while landing, and damaged its bow and undercarriage.
