Saakashvili “hides” wounded Georgians in Afghanistan
Opposition accuses President Mikheil Saakashvili of concealing unfavourable for him information about situation with Georgian military in Afghanistan - Novosti-Gruzia.
After publication of reasons of death and serious injury of two Georgian military opponents of Saakashvili regime see as necessary to claim of concealing more information of this kind by the President. Opposition members added they have proofs of more incidents. One of them - of the 26-year old Mamuka Javakhishvili, who in result lost eyesight.
Today the pro-opposition Labour party will strictly demand the withdrawal of Georgian military contingent from Afghanistan.
"The Labour party of Georgia strongly demands the withdrawal of Georgian military from Afghanistan and their return to Motherland. From the very beginning we were against sending Georgian soldiers and officers. Our children have nothing to do in other people's war, especially under foreign commandment," said Nestan Kirtadze, the international secretary of the party.
