Georgian opposition to share with OSCE Secretary General
Today Georgian opposition holds a meeting with OSCE Secretary General Marc perrin de Brichambaut - GHN.
They will discuss issues of domestic policy, national security, sanitation of electoral environment. Saakashvili's opponents will be represented with Nino Burjanadze, Irakli Alasania, David Usupashvili, Zviad Dzidziguri, Nestan Kirtadze.
"The main issue will be the one of national security, directly concerning shift of Mikheil Saakashvili. In the view of the Laborites, the shift of power must be held through democratic, principal and fair elections," she noted.
Opposition members also intend to discuss the topic of extension of Georgia's work with OSCE from the point of view of democratic institutions development.
"The mission which were very important for security and democratic processes in the country, are closed. The main thing we want to tell to the Secretary General is to extend OSCE's work in Georgia with the aim of development of democratic institutes."
