Kobalia participated in Georgian-American summit
Vera Kobalia, the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, participated in the Georgian-American summit, held by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce - Business-Gruzia.
The summit's aim was development of new trade and investment relations between Georgian and American businessmen.
The USA was represented by Juan Verde, the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasia at the. U.S. Department of Commerce.
In her speech at the summit Kobalia stated of development of trade and economy relations between Georgia and the USA. She noted the importance of such forums for representatives of Georgian business circles, where they can get acquainted with potential American partners, participate in presentations, learn more about terms and standards of exporting Georgian products to the USA.
According to Juan Verde, his monitoring sphere includes 52 countries of Europe and Eurasia. His activity has 5 priority directions, one of them is Georgia. For the country it means the USA allocates it mire resources and implements more programs, aimed at development of trade and investments, with it.
