Iran and Georgia introduced each others’ economies
Georgia and Iran continue cordial communication. Yesterday it was devoted to joint development of economy and tourism - Novosti-Gruzia.
David Jagalania, the deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia, discussed it with Majid Samadzade Sabera, the ambassador of Iran to Georgia.
"At the meeting the sides discussed prospects of further development of bilateral relations, including development of economic cooperation and tourism," the Ministry specifies.
Previous negotiations with the Iranian side concerned the cancellation of visa regime between Georgia and Iran.
Sergi Kapanadze, the Foreign Ministry of Georgia department of foreign relations head, refused to name any specific date when the visa-free regime with Iran can be introduced.
