Computer to cost 55 cent in Georgia
Since November 1st any resident of Georgia will be able to buy a PC for one lari [55 cent] a day, claimed Nika Gilauri, the Prime Minister - GHN.
"Some time ago the Ministry of Education finished negotiations with Intel company, and agreement will be signed in a few weeks. According to the agreement, the population of Georgia will be granted opportunity to buy computers, paying one lari over two years," Gilauri said.
He specified that people willing to buy more advanced models, will have to pay 3 lari a day.
The Minister of Education added that on October 22nd the president of Intel will arrive in Georgia, the due agreement will be signed, and commercial banks will be able to join it.
