Saakashvili advertised Georgia in New York
Mikheil Saakashvili, the President of Georgia, made a promo action of his country in the new York stock - GHN.
He exaggerated the country's opportunities and potential and compared it to central Asian and Caspian countries, possessing oil and gas.
"We have a country with lesser bureaucracy, lower prices, actually free from crime, free from corruption, and nowhere in the region so many reforms have been implemented in the recent 5 years as here," Saakashvili said.
In his speech he focused on tourist potential of the republic.
"Georgia is also one of the most important tourist centres. When I walked along Times Square I watched an advertising video about Georgia. I want to say it's really the country where for 6 months a year you can enjoy the tropical coast and in the same time go skiing in mountains, just like in California," Saakashvili said.
