Lithuania again flattered Tbilisi
At the informal meeting of Russia-NATO Council in New York Audronius Azubalis, the Foreign Minister of Lithuania, , stated that Georgia's problems must be considered in the context of European continent's security more closely -Regnum.
In his view, "Georgian issue must be considered in wider context of European security, more attention must be paid to it."
In early September Dalia Grybauskaite, the president of Lithuania, claimed the intention to reinforce cooperation with Georgia.
"Lithuania still consistently supports successful implementation of structural political and economic reforms in Georgia. Joint projects, encouraging cooperation in specific branches of economy, would favour not only reinforcement of relation between Lithuania and Georgia, but also introduction of European standards and norms in Georgia," Grybauskaite said in the course of her meeting with Prime Minister Nika Gilauri.
