Saakashvili wasn’t ready for a fail in South Ossetia – expert
Georgian leaders were so sure of success in South Ossetian campaign they didn't even bother to care about possible retreat, said Anatoliy Tsyganok, the head of the Centre of Military Prognostication, at the press conference in Moscow.
"The retreat of Georgian military in fact turned into fleeing," the expert added - OsInform.
According to the expert, the primary reasons of the failure were poor training of commanders and soldiers.
Tsyganok also severely criticized Tbilisi's decision to attack South Ossetia. He also claimed of full discredit of Saakashvili regime and declared necessity to exclude Georgian peacemakers "from peacemaking mission all over the world."
