Opposition failed to make an agreement with ex-minister
Negotiations of Georgian opposition and ex-Minister of Defense of Georgia Irakli Okruashvili were fruitless - Novosti-Gruzia. Decision on forming a new opposition union was never made.
Protect Georgia leader Levan Gachechildze, ex-ombudsman Sozar Subari, ex-ambassador of Georgia to Russia and founder of Russtavi-2 TV company Erosi Kitsmarishvili, and Koka Guntsadze, one of the Protect Georgia founders, participated in the negotiations, held past week.
According to Guntsadze, at the meeting political processes in Georgia were discussed.
"As for establishment of a new political union, many Georgian mass media write about, there are several versions in this direction, but nothing specific is decided upon", Guntsadze said. He said that in the nearest time no new negotiations with Okruashvili are planned.
