Demarcation was Russia’s regards to NATO Secretary General
Paata Davitaya, the pro-opposition Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia explained Russia's behaviour in regard to demarcation issue with the visit of NATO Secretary General - Novosti-Gruzia.
"If we trace the events back, we can come to conclusion that every time a serious international figure arrives in Georgia with a visit, Russia always resorts to serious provocations and in this way shows the international law doesn't matter for it, and it always does what it wants," Davitaya said.
He intends to raise this issue in the talk with NATO Secretary General, and also criticize Russia at PACE sitting in Strasbourg on October 4th-8th.
"It's the only organisation working on the problem, and though we can't start a war with Russia, we can exert pressure on it with the help of world community," Davitaya noted.
Previously the Interior Ministry of Georgia accused Russia of stealing 25 hectares of land and a well.
