Resident of Tbilisi is a record-holder in drinking beer
Avtandil Burjanadze, the resident of Tbilisi, set a world record on rapid drinking beer.
At the first beer drinking contest Burjanadze drank three 400-gram mugs of beer for 16.87 seconds.
This result is a new world record. In the nearest time documents, necessary for its registration, will be sent to the Guinness Book of Records.
The winner and the runner-up won coupons for a visit of Mirzaani, a well-known restaurant in Tbilisi.
On September 29th Irakli Vekua, the resident of Poti, 21, set a new world record when made 244 push-ups on two hands in 90 seconds.
It took place in a boxing room in Veri park in Tbilisi. The record was registered by two commission - a special and an alternative ones, both including well-known sportsmen. The action was organized by Shota Keldishvili, the chairman of Rekord sports club, the 25-time record holder.
