Tbilisi believes in PACE
Petre Tsiskarishvili, the head of Georgian parliamentary delegation to PACE, expressed confidence the Assembly would demand "implementation of adopted resolution" from Russia - Trend.
He added the Russian delegation "failed" to close the dossier on August 2008 events.
Previously Leonid Slutsky, the deputy head of Russian delegation, said the Assembly would decide on the fate of Georgian-Russian dossier at the parliamentary conference in the end of the year.
"PACE tangibly moved forward to the way out of the deadlock, - he noted. - The upcoming conference will give an opportunity to decide whether work on this dossier should be continued in the ground of PACE or "dissolve" it in country monitoring reports on Russia and Georgia."
The diplomat added that representatives of Russia and Georgia, CE Secretary General, PACE chairman, CE Commissioner for Human Rights, and delegates from Abkhazia and South Ossetia would participate.
