Tbilisi waits for Somali pirates to lapse into silence
Today Manana Manjgaladze, the press speaker of the president of Georgia, have announced that republican authorities won't release Georgian sailors, captured by Somali pirates, by force - TREND.
The special operation would be possible only when pirates would stop keeping up dialog. The press speaker added the president keeps his finger on the pulse and receives information from the Foreign Ministry daily.
"Somali pirates demand a very big sum for the release - 15 mln dollars. At the present moment negotiations on decreasing the sum of ransom are being conducted," Manjgaladze noted.
