Armenia thinks Azerbaijan can go all lengths
In case political elite of Azerbaijan feels its power is in danger, it can resort to a predictable option - to unleash a war against Armenia, believes Vaagn Khachaturyan, the ex-Mayor of Yerevan, the member of Armenian national Congress, REGNUM reports. In his view, Azerbaijani authorities can do anything to stay in office.
Yet he doesn't see it as inevitable.
In his view, now there's no need in such measures, as parliamentary election in November are predictable and of no threat for the authorities, the ex-Mayor said.
Besides, in his opinion, "the authorities clearly realize that negative morale and morality, reigning in Azerbaijani army, wouldn't allow them to implement militarist intentions."
