Hillary Clinton: USA will support Russia’s joining WTO
The United States will support Russia's joining the World Trade Organisation, though still see presence of Russian military in South Ossetia and Abkhazia as occupation, stated Hillary Clinton, the U.S. Secretary of State, at the sitting of Commonwealth Club.
Russia has been eager to join WTO since 1993, and only in 2010 it managed to get America's consent. But on October 7th, soon after this event, the PM of Georgia, claimed his country wouldn't support Russia's application until the customs issue in Abkhazia and South Ossetia is solved. On October 15th Georgia announced it wouldn't obstacle Russia's joining in case it's done with observation of all rules and procedures.
