NATO to help Georgia in explosive matters elimination
Ambassadors of Estonia, Lithuania, and the Czech Republic in the Alliance will today present the Partnership for Peace Trust Fund project in NATO representative office in Tbilisi. The event will take place in the framework of NATO Week in Georgia - Novosti-Gruzia.
The project is aimed at assisting Georgia to get rid of explosive matters remains and help in medical rehabilitation.
Besides, NATO representatives will hold a number of meetings with Georgian NGOs and discuss prospects of the country's joining the Alliance.
NATO Week in Georgia will be over on October 23rd. The delegation including ambassadors of Estonia, the Czech Republic, and Lithuania in NATO, as well as U.S. deputy ambassador, has been staying in Georgia since October 18th.
