Saakashvili is accused of persecuting foreign business
The Labour party of Georgia is strongly against "expropriative policy of Mikheil Saakashvili, aimed against foreign companies and businessmen working in the country, and it progressed to mass character,' the Laborites say in their today's statement.
These decisions are based not on isolated violation of law, but on desires and views of Saakashvili himself and his circles, and also Saakashvili's political trade aimed at personal profit, the opposition believes.
"We call on Mikheil Saakashvili to stop attacks on foreign companies and businessmen and release detained on October 14th Israeli businessmen, who had arrived in Georgia on government's invitation and on absolutely legal basis."
Two Israeli citizens remain under custody. They are suspected of attempt to bribe an official in the Ministry of Finance.
