Karabakh authorities renamed Agdam
Authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh renamed Agdam town. It's now named Akna and included in Askeran as a district.
The Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan has already protested. Baku sees it as unconstructiveness of the Armenian side during the active phase of negotiations.
Now Agdam is fully ruined. Authorities say about 360 people reside in the town. Before the combat actions it was mostly populated by Azerbaijanians.
According to Sergey Nasibyan, the head of the department on territorial management and municipal management, the aim is to regulate the process of giving out lots to residents of Agdam, and other living issues.
Agdam residents complain about the lack of electricity and water.
