Ministries of Defense of Georgia and Ukraine exchanged experience
Bacho Akhalaya and Mykhaylo Ezhel , the Ministers of Defense of Georgia and Ukraine respectively, discussed issues of reforming the Armed Forces of their states, and optimization and work of administrative structures - RIA Novosti.
According to Akhalaya, it's too early to talk about purchase of Ukrainian arms. "We speak specifically of the reforms to be conduced by the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, share experience with Ukrainian colleagues and receive information about their activities, - he said. - Currently it's our primary form of communication."
Previously first Vice Prime Minister Andriy Kluyev announced Kyiv had no plans to supply Tbilisi with arms.
"We make friends with everyone, but about arms in Georgia I've heard for the first time from you. I think you're being misinformed," Kluyev said.
