International reserves of National Bank of Georgia reached historical maximum since the beginning of 2011
As of February 2011, international reserves of National Bank of Georgia amounted to 2 519,4 million dollars, which is by 106,1 million dollars greater than the figure as of last January 31. This data is reported by Business Georgia with reference to National Bank of Georgia.
Since the beginning of 2011, National Bank's international reserves grew by 255,5 million dollars, thus having reached their historical maximum, as the bank underlined.
International reserves converted to foreign currency amount to 2 292,6 million dollars, including 1 184,7 million dollars deposited in securities and 1 107,9 million dollars on accounts in foreign banks and IMF.
