15420.jpegThe call for bids for the participation in the first stage of developing a tourist zone in Anaklia is over. As reported by Buisness Georgia, 21 investors had shown interest in this tourist zone on the Black Sea shore by that moment, most of them being foreigner. As was stated by Director of National Investment Agency Kety Berikashvili in an interview to the journalists, five most promising projects will be selected within a month; contracts will be signed with investors.

Georgia offers as beneficial conditions to investors for developing a tourist zone in Anaklia as in Kobuleti. The land, the project and all communications will be provided by the state and investors will be exempt from income tax and property tax within 15 years. Besides, the road along the Black Sea coast to Anaklia will be also built by the state; an airport and a yacht club will be constructed.
