Georgia owing WHO and ILO
Georgia owes a certain amount of money to the World Health Organization (WHO) and International Labor Organization (ILO). As was reported by Business Georgia, Georgia has to fulfill all the debt obligations to these organizations in the nearest time. The country's government is going to allocate an amount equal to 221 thousand 960 dollars and 122 thousand 876 Swiss francs for these purposes.
Let us remind you that WHO is a specialized UN agency for health care issues. Georgia entered the organization on 16 May 1992 and has been member of ILO since 1996.
Let us remind you that earlier, it was reported that the first lady of Georgia, Sandra Roelofs was recently appointed as WHO's Ambassador of Free Will. Sandra Roelofs received an offer of appointment to this "post" from the head of WHO European department in spring 2010.
