Authorities to tackle Sataplia national park
Georgian authorities intend to improve the tourist infrastructure in Sataplia national park. As was reported by Business Georgia, it is planned to introduce relevant amendments to the law on the establishment and management of Imereti guarded cave territories. This was reported to the journalists by Parliamentary Secretary of the government Gia Huroshvili. He underlined that the draft law is aimed at developing all tourist routes in the park and, accordingly, at investments attraction. The changes will cover about 330 hectares, which is the park territory.
According to the government's legislative initiative, only 34 hectares of Sataplia national park are subject to being cut. Presently, the territory of the park comprises 354 hectares.
According to the legislation, suppression regime may be aimed at protection and preservation of living organisms of the wild species of national value.
