Russia-Georgia meeting to be held in Bern on April 28
The second meeting between Georgia and Russia will be held in Bern, Switzerland, in the context of negotiations on Russia's entrance in the World Trade Organization. As was reported by Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze in an interview to Ogonek Russian magazine cited by Novosti Georgia, "we do not have the purpose of blocking Russia's entrance in WTO".
"We go to negotiations in Bern, Switzerland, not to block Russia's entrance in WTO", - Vashadze underlined, - "...we go there in order to find together with the Russian delegation a mutually acceptable way out of the legal nightmare that Moscow created with its ill-considered, hasty, emotional and unwise decision to recognize the so-called independence of Abkhazia and Tskhinval region".
At the same time, head of MFA underlined that Tbilisi is conducting negotiations basing solely on the by-laws, regulations and procedures of the World Trade Organization. "We are not going to raise any political, military or other issues that are not related to the point at the negotiating table", - Vashadze underlined.
